About Parallax Vineyard
Parallax Organic Vineyard is located on the lower slopes of Pontos Hills on the eastern side of Tasmania’s Coal River Valley. Originally, the vineyard was part of a land grant made to Horatio William Mason in 1820. The area has warm to hot summers, long settled mild autumns and predominately cool dry winters which make it an ideal location for viticulture.
Our vineyard is 600metres from the coastline of Pittwater, is completely frost free and delivers approximately 1130 growing degree hours per season.
